Responsibilities: - Develops and implements project execution strategies tailored to concession agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with long-term operational goals.
- Leads the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of concession projects, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to key milestones.
- Manages relationships with government authorities, investors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with concession commitments and contractual obligations.
- Oversees procurement, contractor management, and engineering activities to maintain project quality, safety, and performance.
- Ensures risk mitigation strategies are in place, addressing financial, technical, and operational risks specific to long-term concession agreements.
- Drives operational readiness planning to ensure a seamless transition from construction to long-term concession operations and asset management.
- Monitors project performance, financial models, and investment returns to optimize concession lifecycle value.
- Leads contract negotiations, ensuring that EPC, O&M, and service agreements align with concession project requirements.
- Implements sustainability and efficiency initiatives to enhance project performance within environmental and regulatory frameworks.
- Builds and mentors a high-performing project management team with expertise in concession-based infrastructure development.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 20 years working experience, 15 years in a relevant management/leadership position, 5 years GCC experience is a plus
- Strong leadership in project execution, stakeholder management, and financial oversight within concession projects.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management for power plant, oil & gas, and energy & utilities projects.
- In-depth knowledge of concession agreements, long-term infrastructure financing, and public-private partnerships.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills..
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
