• Performing engineering activities (FEED, Detailed Design) for the Instrumentation & Automation Systems & F&G systems(selection of field instrumentation, determination of control system configuration, development of the following project documentation: design fundamentals, specifications, control and shutdown systems philosophies, scope of works, technical data sheets, instrumentation indexes, I/O schedules, loop diagrams, calculations, etc.).
• Performing design activities (FEED, Detailed Design) for Telecom systems: LAN/CCTV/PAGA/FOCL/IDS/VSAT/UHF Radio
• Utilize codes and standards to complete assignments with little supervision.
  Preparation of project deliverables as per cost, schedule and quality requirements.
  Carrying out author supervision of construction according to the profile of one’s work.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with the different engineering disciplines.
  Compliance with company standards to provide quality engineering services/deliverables.
  Continuous improvement and professional advancement in the Instrumentation and Control discipline.
  Train and mentor junior engineers.
  Visit field assignments with physical ability to work in heavy industrial operating environment.
  Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Competency requirements:
  • Advanced AutoCAD user.
  • Knowledge in designing field instrumentation and control systems of the projects.
  • Knowledge of basic types and functions of instrumentation
  • Knowledge of Telecom systems, standards and protocols
  • Knowledge and application of main appropriate international and Kazakhstan’s engineering standards.
  • Awareness of SCADA/PCS/ESD/F&G/3rd Party Systems design and integration with other similar packages.
  • Awareness of preparation of the following of I&C engineering deliverables including BoDs, Specifications, Control
  & Shutdown Systems’ philosophies, Vendor SOWs, Datasheets, Index, Schedules, Loop Diagrams, Calculations, etc.
  • Knowledge of calculations software is an advantage.
  • Advanced user of Data Management Systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or similar software packages.
  • Work experience as per the requirements of construction regulations and standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  (knowledge of international standards in the field of construction will be an advantage).
  • Work experience in international companies will be an advantage.
  • Ability to develop projects at all stages of design.
  • Be proactive, initiative and have ability to work without supervision.

  Education: Bachelor degree in Automation and Control/Telecom is minimum requirement; Master degree preferred.
  Language skills: Russian and English are mandatory. Kazakh is advantageous
  Professional experience: Min 5 years – technical experience
