Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for Lead Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a Team of Engineering and Designers to execute the Scope of Work
- Ensure compliance with all Local and International Standards and adherence to Company Specific Standards
- Responsible for the Integrity of the Deliverables and Ensure all comply with Originating, checking and approving procedures
- Focal Point for 3D Model Review(s) and the timely closing of all comments
- Developing CTR’s and identifying and flagging any changes with Engineering/Project Managers
- Inputs to the Schedules and ensuring that work is executed in the agreed timeframe
- Manpower Planning through all phases of the Projects
- Final Sign off on all deliverables for the discipline
- Closure of any Technical and Site Related Queries
- Liaison with Client Lead Discipline Engineer
- Liaison with overseas Engineering Office
Skills / Qualifications:
- Technical Degree (Bsc) or Higher in their Chosen Discipline
- Experience of working as a Lead in their discipline for no less that 5 Years
- Experience in power system studies
- Experience in project execution processes
- Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
- Professional level of knowledge of applicable RoK codes and standards
