JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To report to the higher management of any identified shortcomings in the work of the Company within the limits of its competence;
- Consult the draft decisions relating to his activities, the documents defining his rights and duties in office, the criteria for assessing the quality of the performance of duties;
- Make proposals to improve the work related to the responsibilities of the post;
- Propose to management that employees who have not secured the Company’s property and other valuables received under the report be held liable;
- Request, in person or on behalf of management, from entities and personnel, reports and documents required for the performance of their duties;
- To require its immediate supervisor or the head of the Company to provide him or her with an individual position with all the facilities necessary to perform the functions and responsibilities entrusted to him by this Due Diligence Instruction, as well as assistance in the performance of their duties and rights;
- To improve their professional level through training courses, visits to enterprises with experience and participation in seminars, conferences, etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements, maintains, and verifies payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including payroll, benefits, penalties, taxes, and other deductions.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payment transactions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages, and hours laws and best practices.
- Facilitates auditing by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll software, systems and procedures.
- Calculation of withholding tax on other income of employees and other individuals
- Preparation of tax reporting on wages and individuals under civil law contracts
- Preparation of reports for the parent company.
- Checking all originals of primary accounting documents and their correct storage.
- In consultation with the Chief Accountant, makes changes to 1C:ЗУП workflows and participates in the automation of the programme;
The Payroll accountant shall:
- Speak Kazakh, Russian, English
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Confident 1С, MS Office User
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Management systems auditor would be an added value.
