Job Purpose:

Lead development and standardization of PM processes and procedures with focus on high-quality project delivery within scheduled time and budget. The Project Engineer (PAE) will ensure that the company's Project Management Systems and procedures, engineering standards and specifications are complete, comprehensive, internally consistent and aligned. The Project Engineer will identify any gaps and develop processes, procedures and tools to cover those gaps, in consultation with Project Practitioners in the functional and the delivery organizations across NDD.

In collaboration with the Project Engineer Continuous Improvement, ensure that the company's Project Management Systems (PMS) and procedures, engineering standards and specifications are complete, comprehensive, internally consistent and aligned, and are applied consistently across the NDD projects portfolio.

The Project Engineer has responsibility for a range of simultaneous deliverables and executes his / her activities in support of the Team Lead Project engineering. The PAE works closely with PMs and PEs in the delivery organization and will proactively reach out and advise and (where necessary) train NDD Project Practitioners in the application of new / updated processes, procedures and tools.

The Project Engineer may also support project teams to provide hands-on assistance or perform other assigned ad-hoc project engineering and -management tasks.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Higher degree in relevant Engineering discipline
• Not less than 5 years of relevant experience in working as a PE or Assurance Engineer for a major oil/gas company and/or a contractor providing engineering or EPC services, and broad practical work experience in a technical environment.
• Knowledge and expertise in project management, with demonstrated experience involving capital projects
• Computer Literate and advanced experience with MS Office applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
• Experience at managing safety within area of responsibility.
• Knowledgeable of international oil/gas capital project Best Practices.
• Sound knowledge of development project Economic Analysis and decision-making process.

Advantageous Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience with sour gas (high H2S content) developments.
• Not less than 3 years of experience with oil/gas field capital projects, including leadership roles and international assignments experience in all phases of project design, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning and relevant contractual aspects.
• More than 1 year of experience in project documentation review and standardization, planning and reporting, project management, project assuranceand project control.
• More than 1 year of experience in working directly or indirectly for a major oil and gas company in a direct man management - supervisory position.
• Experience and skills at Power BI and Power Automate skills
• Advanced degrees in above specified area and/or closely related field.
