Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance & Control Strategy:
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) and related procedures.
• Ensure that all contractors and suppliers meet the quality standards specified in project requirements.
• Compliance and Auditing:
  • Lead regular audits of construction activities to ensure compliance with international and local quality standards
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and clients to ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Kazakhstan-specific standards, codes, and certifications for gas separation plant construction.
  • Compliance and Auditing:
  • Lead regular audits of construction activities to ensure compliance with international and local quality standards
    • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and clients to ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with Kazakhstan-specific standards, codes, and certifications for gas separation plant construction.
    • Inspection and Testing:
      • Develop and oversee inspection and testing protocols for construction materials, processes, and equipment.
      • Monitor testing programs (NDT, material testing, pressure testing, etc.) for mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation work.
      • Supplier and Contractor Management:
        • Evaluate and approve materials and services from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet project quality requirements.
        • Conduct regular supplier and subcontractor quality audits.
        • Handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.
        • Documentation and Reporting:
          • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, NCRs, and quality records.
          • Provide regular updates on quality performance to the project team, senior management, and clients.
          • Ensure all relevant quality documentation is submitted to clients for project completion and handover.
          • Team Leadership and Training:
            • Lead the project’s QA/QC team and provide guidance to site supervisors and engineers on quality-related matters.
            • Conduct training sessions on quality standards, practices, and procedures for the project team.
            • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across the project team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality Management, particularly in the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices (e.g., ASME, API, NACE) for gas separation or similar projects.
• Experience in managing QA/QC for large-scale construction projects in Kazakhstan or other CIS countries is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kazakhstan regulatory and safety requirements for the construction and commissioning of gas processing plants.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
