Coating Supervisor must:

• be qualified NACE Level II / III;
• Provide technical support and advice to supervising issues;
• Develop and establish ITP, procedure, method of statement, reporting forms for all coating, PFP, insulation activities;
• Attend in client/internal meetings to resolve all Coating issues with client;
• Communicate and manage with Construction Manager regarding to concern the painting/coating and insulation activities on project;
• Agree with the Project Quality Manager the client notification process in terms of witness the inspections / tests;
• Face and solve all operational problems relevant to painting/coating and insulation activities;
• Verify the handling and storage of blasting, painting, insulation, PFP materials;
• Work together with the Project Quality Manager and QA/QC Coordinator regarding to all the matters concerning the control of materials, and the inspection of the surfaces to be coated or insulated and to keep them informed about the operational criticalities of his function, as well as to submit suggestions aimed at improving his own work;
• Conduct check conformity of items supplied by Vendors and to carry out spot checks (dry film thickness, adhesion test, holiday test, etc.) in accordance with the applicable ITP;
• Issuing WI, NCR, TQ, CR, SQ related to each project, review MTO and all engineering outputs in technical point of view related to Coating, Insulation and PFP activities;
• Review and approve the procedures issued by Subcontractors and Vendors against the project design specifications;
• Carry out all the internal steps of verification and tests required by applicable Inspection Test Plans on structures, pressure vessels and piping/pipelines.

• Education: secondary or higher technical education
• Experience: at least 8 years of experience as Coating Inspector/Supervisor

Professional skills:

• Knowledge and experience with international standard such as NACE, ASTM, ISO.
