Construction Managers oversee all aspects of a construction project from Engineer pointing of view

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversee the performance of all trade contractors and ensure that work is completed on schedule
• Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to workers and other professionals
• Work closely with architects and engineers to go over plans and blueprints, making decisions on the best methods of construction
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
• Support PC Contractors in Estimate project costs, negotiate contracts, and manage construction schedules (if required)
• Address, mitigate and resolve problems and delays in construction projects
• Ensure that safe work practices are followed, including compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
• Organize author supervision activities, prepare rotational plan , list of activities, S& T queries
• Interface with PC contractor and Client in order to solve site Technical issues

• Proven working experience in construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Familiarity with construction management software packages
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills

• Education: BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field

  Language skills: English is mandatory. Russian and Kazakh are advantageous

  Professional experience: Min 20 years technical experience in Oil & Gas. Min 10 year – Managerial experience
