Consulting Services Lead/Focal Point

The role requirements are:

• Act as the primary focal point for our growing specialist services offering in Kazakstan
• Assist with local business development with our major clients and the winning of work
• Assist the local and global tendering teams with creation of ‘Cost, Time, Resource’ (CTR) quotations and the writing of technical proposals
• Accountable for the planning, resourcing and execution of the various consultancy workscopes utilising both local and global resources
• Performs the work in a ‘team lead’ or ‘Senior Engineer’ capacity within their specialist areas. For example, in the area of conventional O&G Integrity Management.
• Assist the project manager with budgeting, intercompany agreements and invoicing.
• Interfacing with in-country stakeholders (Client/Wood/Other 3rd parties) for smooth technical delivery and to aid efficient cost management.
• Assists with the establishment of local delivery team, including resourcing, recruitment, interviewing and onboarding.
• Laison with support functions including but not limited to Planning, Cost Control, HR, Finance and HSEQ.
• Bulids strong working relationships across all stakeholders within client organisation to ensure that their needs are fully understood and expectations are appropriately managed.
• Provides support as required to audits e.g. verification, client, internal, etc. If applicable carry out periodic site audits e.g. Management visits.
• Assist with urgent issues which may arise out of hours
• Supports the Nationalization programme.
• Ensure that company policies, procedures and controls are adhered to at all times, & assists with maintaining compliance with local authority requirements
