Engineer, Process Control/Automation (Atyrau 5/2)

- Should be graduate in Computer Science related major with at least bachelor’s degree. Not less than 5 years’ experience is required. Also, candidates who have a background in IT, Automation, Instrumentation, Process facilities engineering or production operations with a knowledge of information technologies are highly preferred.

Required to know\have:

- Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016/2022 (working with virtual environment and managing the server)

- Microsoft Windows XP/7/10/11

- Presentation Skills

- Meeting Fasilitator skills

- MS Excel and PowerPoint - advanced level

- English on the intermediate level or above including writing, reading, listening and speaking

- Russian languages fluently, Kazakh languages intermediate preferably

Understanding of

- SNOW: IRM Standards, IRM Plan Management, IP Exception\Acceptance

- SQL\Oracle DBs

- Network Devices: Switches, Firewalls, Routers

- System Event Log Monitoring

- Linux, VMWare

- SIEP solution: Splunk, SolarWinds etc.

Preferred qualifications include:

- MS Windows Command Prompt standard commands

- TCP/IP and Network knowledge

- Sun Java knowledge for general purpose

- Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry instrumentations and automation concepts

- Good understanding of network concepts, i.e. DMZ, PCN and Corporate Business Network

- Configuration of MS Internet Information Server (IIS) and knowledge of this technology

- Programming in ASP.NET, HTML and XML

- MS SharePoint: creating and managing sheets, Dataflow, surveys etc.

- MS Visio
