Engineer, Process Control/Automation (Atyrau 5/2)

Brief Job Description:

• Administrate SQL, Oracle, MS Access databases;

• Implement new database programs to support TCO operations;

• Creating, configuring, and deploying new database systems based on project requirements.

• Consult and diagnose database problems. Make changes where applicable;

• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in database systems.

• Maintain computer applications software and implement patch/version updates;

• On-going applications technical support and administering, maintenance, including installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.

• Continuously check and implement security setting on SQL, Oracle databases and IIS.

• IIS (Internet Information Service) administration, configuration and troubleshooting.

• Design, develop, test and deploy the new custom applications and reports.

• Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation, procedures, and processes.

Job Specification and requirements:

• Citizen of Republic Kazakhstan

• Higher professional (engineering or technical) education

• 4-6 years Industrial or Information Technology experience as an engineer or technician is required

• Minimum upper intermediate English language required

Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge of ASP.NET, VB scripts, PowerShell

• Microsoft Access, SQL, and Oracle database design and administration experience

• PCN Applications in a Network Environment

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
