Position based in Atyrau, 5/2

Requirements:

• Higher (or post graduated) education, Qualification in procurement, supply chain.
• Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement for more that 5 years
• MBA, MSc degree with additional education in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting or Engineering is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools (ERP systems) SAP
• Must be capable of producing precise and accurate reports to Finance and Management.
• Clear understanding of materials management and inventory control systems including sourcing and procurement
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, writing and communication skills
• Knowledge in legislative and other normative acts of Republic of Kazakhstan and other valid international documents, metrological materials on material-technical supply
• Knowledge in rules of conclusion of contracts with suppliers and control terms of contract
• Knowledge of standards and technical conditions of material-technical supply products quality

Responsibility:

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Preparing procurement reports.
• Monitor market trends which effects performance of procurement activities
