Project Location: Atyrau, Uralsk and or Astana, partly from Almaty.

Job Type: Flexible, with combination of rotational schedule 28x28 or 6 weeks on sites and 2 weeks off.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases and applications.
• Analyze and visualize spatial data to support decision-making processes.
• Integrate GIS with other IT systems and applications.
• Conduct spatial analysis and create custom maps and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide GIS solutions.
• Conduct spatial analysis and create geographic maps and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality by performing data validation and cleanup.
• Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3+years’ experience in GIS & spatial analysis.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and spatial databases like Post GIS.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with web mapping frameworks (e.g., Leaflet, Open Layers).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Recent Certification in GIS (e.g., GISP) and other related offline trainings is a plus.
• Hardworking, honest and diligent with the delivery obligations and deadlines.
• With motto working not for “timesheet”, not hiding the issues and problems, then always oriented to be transparent, initiative and proactive.
• Technical English language proficiency is Upper Intermediate or higher.
• Experience with use of modern sophisticated UAV and drones for geomatics projects with post-processing skills using ArcGis Pro database is another advantage.
