Job Purpose:

Lead Completion engineer will be responsible for front-end well design and engineering support during execution of the completion and workover phases in the well construction process to ensure safe, cost effective, and high-quality wells.

Challenges of this role include

• preparing challenging technical well designs to ensure meet the company's Technical standards
• Coordination of multi-functional teams to achieve Completions and Workover Objectives including safety, quality, cost effectiveness and efficient schedule
• Effective risk based, operational decision making in high consequence environment.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Higher professional (technical) degree in technical/ engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 6-8 years experience in completion and well intervention engineering of HPHT and sour corrosive wells
• At least 2 -3 years of field experience in well testing/commissioning/stimulation/rigless/work over operations preferably offshore,
• Experience as Contract Administrator or Contract Holder
• Experience in planning & performing well operations in environmentally sensitive areas and well drilling/testing of sour reservoir fluids.
• Experience of HP-HT well practices.
• Experience in sandstone and carbonate reservoir completions.

Required Competences:

The job holder must have proven:

• Knowledge of Rigs, materials and equipment needed for the typical well construction activities, in particular for drilling and testing deep, highly deviated, sour wells.
• Intimate knowledge of the well construction processes and the relevant engineering contents.
• Knowledge of aspects tied with rig & rigless well operations in cold climate.
• Aware of the advanced HSE management system requirements.
• Capable to identify hazards and risks in relations to well operations and elaborate/propose mitigation actions.
• Able to prepare SoW for Completion & Well Services ITT; capable to evaluate technical bids and score them
• Computer literate, with the scope of producing reports, and organize data.
• Familiar with the technical software typical of well engineering disciplines.
• Team player, capable of working with professionals from different organizations and lead the contracted service companies.
