Job Purpose:

Support well completion and commissioning activities performed by the Drilling Directorate of The Company, under the supervision of the Well Completion Engineering Team Lead:

• Conduct engineering studies and develop detailed operational programs for future projects.
• Provide well engineering support to the Company's Well Intervention and Maintenance Team.
• Ensure that completion and commissioning activities and work processes are planned and designed in accordance with the requirements and controls outlined in Company manuals and procedures, as well as good oil field practices.
• Ensure that operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that data and information are collected and recorded to meet the needs and requirements of The Company.
• Search for and propose the most effective methods and technologies aimed at improving the safety and performance of well operations.
• If required, provide training and tutoring for local engineers.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Higher professional degree in technical/engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in completion/well testing/commissioning/rigless/work over operations, including at least 1 year of field experience, preferably at offshore locations.
• Preferable experience in HPHT well operations.
• Preferable experience in sour (H2S containing) wells.
• Preferable experience in sandstone and carbonate reservoir completions.

Required Competences:

• Knowledge of drilling rigs, materials and equipment needed for well construction activities, in particular for drilling and testing deep, highly deviated, sour wells.
• Knowledge of well construction processes and the relevant engineering contents.
• Knowledge of aspects tied to well operations in a cold climate.
• Knowledge of HSSE management system requirements.
• Capability to identify hazards and risks in relations to well operations and elaborate/propose mitigation actions.
• Computer literate, with the scope of producing reports, and organize data.
• Familiar with the technical software typical for well engineering disciplines.
• Team player, capable of working with professionals from different organizations and lead the contracted service companies.
• Ability to efficiently communicate in a diverse cultural environment.
