Planning Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation and maintaining the project schedules and timelines to ensure that the projects are completed on time, adherence to budget, and to the specified quality standards. heir role plays an essential part in ensuring efficient resource allocation, monitoring progress, and delivering timely reports to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Preparing the project baseline schedule in accordance with the contract conditions and specifications.
- Enhance productivity for each activity and collaborate effectively with the project team.
- Establishing and implementing methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialties.
- Developing quantity release and/or installation curves for assigned scopes/areas or specialties and find the required production for each activity on daily, weekly and month basis.
- Determining critical-path activities for assigned scopes or specialties and identifies significant activities supporting inter- discipline requirements and identifies critical path for discipline or specialty work activities.
- Identifying, analyzing and monitoring schedule deviations for assigned projects or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations.
- Preparing cash flows, loading resources, commodities and cost breakdown for various disciplines of works for effective monitoring of the project.
- Developing and writing the schedule commentary that appears in the monthly progress and similar reports.
- Preparing Extension of time using Time impact Analysis Techniques, Impacted as Plan and Window Analysis Techniques.
- Preparing Project Look Ahead Plans.
- Monitoring construction schedules and proactively identifying any potential delays or deviations. Identifying potential causes of delay, if any, and providing recommendations for effective solutions.
- Analyze engineering, procurement and construction actual progress and comparing the actual productivity of resources to plan.
- Preparation of Variation orders related to time claims and time extensions due to holds/interface issues or any unforeseeable circumstances and scope change.
- Create Dashboards, reports, and presentations for Project progress meetings.
- Reviewing and preparing recommendations for the work program of subcontractors.
- An expert at preparing EOT submissions finding out all the possible ways to claim collaborating with engineers and Project manager, including all narratives and supporting information.
- Evaluating the planning and scheduling information collected from Site Engineers and Sub-Contractors and advises management of exceptions to the plan and potential corrective action and/or impact to the project.
- Preparation of various internal programs as per site requirements and monthly reports for higher management.
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports for Engineer/Employer.
- Preparation of Handing Over plan.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Degree in Engineering or similar.
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 professional or equivalent report preparation softwares
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills, English communication skills.
- Minimum 4+ years experience in Oil and Gas.
- Planning and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work in the city of Abu Dhabi (UAE).
- AED 7000 - 8000 per month.
